ANGEL course site:
Most online courses at ECC use ANGEL for course material and activities. The website address for ANGEL is http://angel.ecc.edu. You will not be able to login to ANGEL until the first day of classes.

Orientations:
The time, date, room, and campus for your course orientation is listed on your course schedule. If you cannot attend this meeting, contact your instructor before the scheduled orientation.
If you see WEB* instead of the orientation time on your course schedule, your course has its orientation online. Click here for the faculty contact information.To find your instructor’s name on the list, click on the box that has the instructors last name and click on your instructor’s folder.

Types of Distance Courses:
Online courses have a section number beginning with I, such as IS1. In an online course, students access some or all of the course material and participate in course activities over the internet. Orientation information is found above.
Telecourses have a section number beginning with T, such as TN1. In a telecourse, students use a set of videotapes as a substitute for the traditional class lecture. All telecourse have orientation days and times listed in the course schedule.
Hybrid courses have a section number beginning with HY, such as HY1. In a hybrid course, an online component is used as a substitute for a portion of the class instruction. The day and time for each class is listed in the course schedule.
