Open and Drop/Add registrants subject to $30 Registration Fee

Registration constitutes full academic and financial liability. Dropping of courses must be done in person at the campus where your courses are scheduled.
Failure to pay by due date will result in course cancellation.

Withdrawal from a course:  To withdraw from a course, request a withdrawal form from the Registrar's Office. This form must be signed by the student and submitted to the Registrar's Office for processing.  Lack of participation in a distance learning course does NOT constitute withdrawal. It is the student's responsibility to process the withdrawal form. Click here for the ECC Withdrawal Form. Print this form, fill in the appropriate information, attach a copy of your current drivers license and mail to the Registrar's office where you registered. Locations are listed below.

The procedure to withdraw from an on-line course is the same as any other course. The difference is that we would accept a printed on-line withdrawal form mailed from the student providing that the student met the published date and time requirements.

The student should contact the Registrars office and provide his/her social security number and proper name along with the course number and title.

For students that wish to drop a  course and not have financial responsibility, they must contact us before the beginning  of the semester. Otherwise they would be liable according to the published schedule.

Immunization requirements: All students, including distance learning students, registered for 6 or more credits must submit proof of immunization within 30 days from the start of classes.  Failure to comply can result in the cancellation of your courses and loss of tuition/fee monies paid.  If you are located out of New York State, please contact the Health Office at 716-851-1499.
